How do I submit my set?
Go to the Submit page and complete every field marked with a red asterisk (*). You'll add your profile, your video link, pay the $2.99 review fee, agree to the terms, and press Submit My Set. You must be 18 or older.
My submission won't go through / a field is blocking me.
Every field marked with a red asterisk (*) is required. Scroll back up and make sure none are left blank β€” common misses are date of birth, confirm-email, and the video link. An incomplete form can't be processed.
I didn't finish β€” is my submission saved?
Submissions are only recorded once you complete payment and press Submit. If you left before that, nothing was saved β€” just redo the Submit form when you're ready.
What video should I send / what link works?
Submit a link to your tightest stand-up set on a service the Evaluators can open (e.g. YouTube or Vimeo). Make sure the link is public or unlisted β€” not private β€” so it plays without a login.
How do I sign up as a PTM Influencer?
Two ways. Fastest: Sign in with Google β€” one tap and you're in. Or use the Register page: enter your email and a password (at least 8 characters) and submit, then on the next screen tap β€œVerify & continue now” to activate your account. You must be 18 or older. Once you're in, you're a PTM Influencer with 25 support indicators to back the comics you believe in.
How do I re-register / I already had an account?
You don't need to register again. If your email is already in the system, just use Sign In (or Sign in with Google if that's how you joined). If you try to register a second time with the same email, you'll be sent to the sign-in page automatically.
I'm on a new phone or computer β€” do I sign up again?
No β€” sign up once. On any device, just Sign In with the same email and password (or Google). Your account and your support history travel with you.
I forgot which email I used.
If you joined with Google, use Sign in with Google β€” it finds your account automatically. Otherwise, try your usual email addresses on the Sign In page. Still stuck? Leave a note below and the team will help.
How do I finish / complete my registration?
After you fill out the Register form and submit, you'll land on a β€œOne More Step” screen. Tap the β€œVerify & continue now” button there to activate your account and you're in. Prefer to skip the form? Sign in with Google signs you up in one step.
I'm having trouble signing in with Google.
Make sure you pick the Google account you want to use, and let the Google window or redirect open β€” a pop-up blocker can sometimes stop it. Then try Sign in with Google again. If it still won't go through, leave a note below and the team will help.
I can't sign in.
The simplest way back in is Sign in with Google using the same Google account you joined with. If you signed up with an email and password, use the Sign In page and make sure the email is typed exactly. If it still won't work, leave a note below and we'll help.
I forgot my password.
If you joined with Google, you don't need a password β€” just use Sign in with Google. If you used a password and can't recall it, leave a note below and the production team will help you get back in.
What does it cost / what is the $2.99 fee?
There's a one-time, non-refundable $2.99 Submission Review Fee charged when you submit, through a secure payment processor. It's the same for everyone and has no effect on the review or who gets selected.
My card was declined / payment failed.
Double-check the card number, expiry, CVC and available funds, then try again β€” or try a different card. Payment is handled by a secure (PCI-compliant) processor; no card numbers are stored. If you see a charge but your submission didn't complete, leave a note below with the date and amount and we'll sort it out.
Is the fee refundable?
The $2.99 review fee is non-refundable regardless of whether you're selected, except where required by law.
Can I pay to boost my support / chances?
No. Community support can't be purchased or influenced by any payment, and the review fee has no effect on selection. Everyone is on equal terms.
How are comics selected?
Pass Tha' Mic is a curated showcase, not a competition. The Evaluators β€” Martin Lawrence, Jo Koy and Leslie Small β€” select 23 of the 24 featured comics on merit against the Six Discovery Criteria, and 1 more is identified by PTM community support.
What is a PTM Influencer / a support indicator?
A PTM Influencer is a registered, verified community member. Each one gets 25 support indicators to back the entrants they like. The entrant with the most community support earns the one community-selected spot in the 24.
Do I have to be 18?
Yes β€” you must be 18 or older to submit a set and to register as a PTM Influencer.
How is my information used?
Your information is used to administer submissions, verify eligibility and operate the production. Payment details are handled by the processor and not stored by the Producer, and your personal information is not sold.
