There were excellent videos, and we will have a difficult time narrowing down to 23 comics.
Pass Tha’ Mic was a curated stand-up showcase — not a competition. Comic registration was open to the public: newcomers, seasoned comics currently working the road who had never had a special, and comics whose last special aired more than ten years ago were all welcome to step up.
Entrants submitted their own original stand-up — tight sets of five to seven minutes. The Evaluators now select 23 of the 24 featured comics on merit; the 24th is chosen by the PTM community.
Reminder: the 24th comic will be chosen by the PTM Influencers. That process will remain open until August 17th.
